Created in 2026, bye bye PFAS is an initiative launched by economic actors with the purpose of planning the withdrawal of PFAS in France and in Europe.
bye bye PFAS was founded by BigBlueFire, an independent organisation specialising in protecting people’s environmental health.
A scientific committee provides guidance for decision-making in bye bye PFAS’s actions. It is made up of experts in PFAS-related fields such as chemistry, toxicology, technical alternatives, scientific communication, etc.
Lastly, bye bye PFAS is deployed with the support of partner organisations. Générations Futures, an association specialising in the fight against chemical pollution and with recognised expertise in PFAS, is bye bye PFAS’s first partner organisation.
